The former governor of Anambra state Peter Obi revealed shocking truth on the "Platform" a program designed to showcase events on business, creativity, leadership, and national empowerment, held in Lagos. In his presentation, he brought to light how Nigerian government waste alot of money in the course of running an office in the state. In his words he said, " if we desire today, (the average) most state have about, an average of six bullet proof vehicles, today is about hundred million naira for one, and if we times it, hundred million today times six then times 36 it comes to about 21.6 billion, but if you reduce it to two, it would be about 7.2 billion and you save, and you save about 14 point something billion".
"If you decide, the average government house has about (27) 25 jeeps, today's price is about 35 million to 40 million, so you are looking at an average of, if you use 35 is 875 million naira each multiplied by 36, again if you reduce it from 25 to 8 you save about 15 billion".
