It has been a war without a victory for two government administrations on the abduction of over 200 secondary school girsl in Chibok by the Boko Haram sect. Today it was a good news to behold as the Nigeria government shared an insight on how 21 Chiibok girls were released by the Boko Haram sect. But this current success came by the intervention of the Red cross and Swiss government, according to the statement released by the presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, he said "The release of the girls, in limited number is the outcome of negotiation between the administration and the Boko Haram brokered by the international Red Cross and the Swiss Government". From the information gathered by Premium times, the exchange took place on Wednesday night when Nigerian military officials, alongside personnel of United Nations, Red Cross and National Emergency Management Agency, conveyed four Boko Haram militants by a chopper to Banki, a boarder town in Bama local government area of Borno state. There, 21 released girls where picked up. The girls were brought into Maiduguri Air force base at about 8.30am.

The vice President declosed that only one of the girls had a baby, and the girls were provided with medical attention. He also said that the parents of the 21 girls will join them soon.
